Dhyana is a Hindu term for meditation. Dhyana is induced by mindful breathing and stages of relaxation. The process is a complete transformation from the alertness of reality to the calmness of self-possession and equanimity. There are different ways that people around the world learn the tools to receive effective treatment. From traditional or alternative medicine, to talk therapy, to new-age technological treatments, there is no one answer.

For these reasons, I created Dhyana, the most easily accessible, individualized way to receive therapy from the people no different than you. It can be intimidating to sit in front of a psychologist/psychiatrist, or be told that medicine or other procedures are necessary to get better. Sometimes, people want to have control over their own life and their own maturity. They want to accept what they want to hear. Moreover, I believe that people who say they don't want this for themselves simply do not rely enough on their own character and intuition. Dhyana puts the individual in control.
Dhyana is a therapy database with the goal of empowering people to seek growth. Think of GroupMe, Zoom, and Reddit all coming together to provide a space for friends, family, or even strangers to discuss their most troubling issues or empowering successes. I believe that human connection and love are the two most important aspects of life. Most people are afraid to talk about their feelings, especially with the one's they are closest with. They worry about their loved one's expectations of them, and think that they need to stay strong, or keep their feelings to themselves. However, in reality, every person on Earth goes through the same feelings, the same pain, the same triumph. So why not share those experiences with the world?
